Microsoft have now released Office 2016 for Mac, this is ahead of the release of the full Office 2016 suite for Windows based devices, which is due for release before the end of 2015 (no specific dates have been muted at this time).
It is available to Office 365 customers using a Macintosh device, whether it be on an iPad or PC based device
